What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Whoever says three times when he wakes up, 'I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan,' and recites three verses from the end of Surat al-Hashr, Allah will entrust seventy thousand angels to pray for him until the evening, and if he dies on that day, he dies as a martyr; and whoever says it when he reaches the evening will attain that same status"?

The aforementioned hadith was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi in his book "Virtues of the Quran" (2922) and by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad (19795). In its chain of narration is Khalid ibn Tahman, about whom Ibn Hajar said: "Truthful, accused of Shi'ism, then he became confused (in his memory)." Al-Albani declared it weak. There are many authentic and well-established morning and evening remembrances (adhkar) reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
