How is it possible to see the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a dream?

There is no legitimate way to see the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a dream. And whoever claims to have seen him must have seen him in his true form; otherwise, it is not the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, because Satan cannot assume his true form. A Muslim should not occupy himself with visions and dreams; rather, he should focus on obedience in wakefulness. A Muslim who follows the Sunnah sees the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with his heart by following his guidance and Sunnah in all aspects of his life.
