What is the ruling on a woman wearing a ring on her index finger and middle finger?

The prohibition of wearing a ring on the index and middle fingers is specific to men. This is what Ahmad ibn Hanbal stipulated and the three Imams agreed upon. Muslims have unanimously agreed that the for a man is to wear the ring on his little finger, and it is mildly disliked (makrooh tanzihi) for a man to wear it on the middle finger and the one next to it. As for women, there is no dislike (karahah) for them in wearing a ring on any of their fingers.
