Is the Hadith: "Indeed, Satan takes the form of a man and tells imaginary stories, and you know his face but you do not know his face (the name)" authentic, and if so, where can it be found?

There is no textual evidence in the Shari'ah that proves Satan takes on human form "routinely" or "always," even though it is possible and has occurred at times, as in the narration of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) with the devil who came to steal from the zakat food of Ramadan. However, the general rule is that jinn and devils are veiled from humans, and their appearance in visible forms is an exception that is only established by strong evidence or indication.
