What is the ruling on women working in media fields such as cartoon dubbing, narrating documentaries, or reading books for the blind, taking into account the occasional change in voice and men hearing these materials?

It is permissible for a woman to work in media, dubbing, reading, and commenting on programs, as long as it adheres to the Shariah controls and is free from a submissive tone in speech, because a woman's voice is not considered 'awrah (nakedness) according to the most preponderant opinion.

However, her imitation of men's or animals' voices is impermissible, because imitation of animals was mentioned in a context of dispraise in the Quran and Sunnah, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed men who imitate women.

The default is for a woman to remain in her home, and her home is better for her and further from temptation if she is not in need of work.
