Is it permissible for a woman to perform cartoon character voices, including the voices of children or to change her voice to that of a man, along with accompanying scenes of coquetry, laughter, and songs, especially if no one knows that the performer is a woman, and if she does not have male guardians (mahrams) to assist her in the voice performance?

The voice of a woman is not considered awrah (private/uncoverable) according to the soundest opinion. However, Islamic law prohibits softening or making the voice alluring, as stated in the Almighty's words: "Then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech" (Quran 33:32). As for a woman imitating the voice of men, it is not permissible due to the forbidden imitation involved. If a woman needs to speak with a man, there is no harm, provided that she adheres to the Islamic guidelines, such as observing the hijab, avoiding seclusion (khalwa) or unrestricted mixing (ikhtilat). The presence of a mahram (unmarriageable kin) reduces suspicion and temptation.
