Is a pilot sinful for transporting passengers whose purpose for travel may be to commit acts of disobedience (ma'asi), knowing that he does not know their intentions?

The pilot or other transport operators do not bear the sin of what travelers commit in terms of sins at their destination, because their contract is based on permissible transport, and they have no relation to the passengers' intentions. Islamic law does not burden a person with questioning others about their intentions as long as the act is permissible. A person is responsible for his own actions, not the actions of others, unless he assists them in disobedience. He does not bear the burden of what may result from his permissible action in terms of evil deeds unless he intended them or his action directly leads to them. However, transporting passengers to places of specific disobedience or places where evil deeds prevail (such as nude beaches or gambling clubs) is not permissible for a pilot to work in.
