ما هو شرح الجزء "الناس معادن" من الحديث، وما هي الدروس المستفادة منه وعلاقته بالفتنة والابتلاء؟

This wording is part of a Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "You will find people to be like معادن (mines/minerals); the best of them in the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah) are the best of them in Islam, provided they comprehend (فقِهوا)..." Its meaning is that people are of different origins; some are precious and some are base, just like minerals that are embedded in the earth. The point of resemblance is that people's differences in dispositions, such as instincts, are like the differences in the essences of minerals, and the firmness of these differences in souls is like the firmness of mineral veins. And Islamic honor is not complete except through comprehension (Fiqh).
