What is the wisdom behind the creation of man and his affliction with desires and sins, and what is the destiny of our deeds, and why were we not created as angels from the beginning, when He is independent of us?

Predestination (Qadar) is one of Allah's secrets concerning His creation; He has not disclosed it to anyone, and delving deep into it leads to failure and deprivation. Allah has concealed the knowledge of predestination from His servants and prohibited them from delving into it, because He, the Exalted, is: "not to be questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned."
