Is it permissible to publish pictures of wedding dresses worn by women on a website, with an obligatory question for the visitor to specify gender and a warning before entering the photo section that it contains pictures of women? And is the website owner sinful if men answer that they are women and enter the section? And is it permissible for the website owner to quickly glance at the women's photos to ensure they are free of errors? And does this fall under the rule of "that which has become widespread affliction"? And is it permissible to deal with a shop where the saleswoman or owner is not veiled? And what is the ruling on working in a permissible field surrounded by many prohibitions?

It is not permissible to design a website that displays images of women, because setting an obligatory question or a warning does not fulfill the purpose, nor does it absolve one of responsibility. It is also not permissible for the designer to look at these images to remove inappropriate ones.

This cannot be analogized to selling permissible ornaments that have images of women on them, because what you are engaged in is intended in itself and can be promoted without the need for images of women.

As for work that is permissible in itself, if it leads its practitioner to fall into sin, he must abandon it. If it is possible to work in this field while adhering to Islamic guidelines, then it is not forbidden. However, if it brings him close to sins, abandoning it is preferable and better, and this is part of praiseworthy piety, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are matters that are doubtful, about which many people do not know. So, whoever avoids the doubtful matters has safeguarded his religion and his honor, and whoever falls into the doubtful matters is like a shepherd who grazes around a sanctuary; he is about to enter it. Indeed, every king has a sanctuary, and indeed, Allah's sanctuary on His earth are His prohibitions."
