The answer

Among the great objectives of Islam is the realization of loyalty among its followers and the embodiment of unity. Its teachings, directives, and devotional rituals all call for this. The word of Tawheed (Oneness of God) calls for the unification of creed, establishing prayer in congregation is a manifestation of unity, giving Zakat achieves social solidarity, fasting clarifies unity and solidarity, and Hajj is the most magnificent manifestation of unity.

Furthermore, the texts of revelation urge unity and solidarity, as in the Almighty's saying: "And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me." (21:92), and His saying: "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided." (3:103), and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The believer to the believer is like a solid structure, one part supporting the other," and "The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion is that of a single body." The Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Rightly Guided Caliphs implemented these instructions, uniting the Ummah after its dispersion.
