It is permissible for a woman to uncover her chest to breastfeed her child in front of other women out of necessity, while trying to cover herself as much as possible. The prescribed dress is a long garment that covers the entire body except for the head, hands, and feet. It is permissible to uncover the forearms and calves when necessary, but this does not mean wearing short clothes.
