What is the ruling regarding a son who does not want to work and wants his mother to give him money, and what is the ruling regarding the car she bought for him which he did not maintain, and now he wants her to buy him another car, and what do you say to the mother concerning the division of gifts among her children?

The mother is like the father in the obligation to be just between children in giving gifts. However, favoritism is permissible if there is a need, such as one of the children having a disability, or needing money for marriage, and so forth.

What one of the sisters took as a large sum of money under the pretext of her effort in obtaining documents is not permissible. If she was not donating her effort, then she is only entitled to receive a fair wage for her work in this matter. She must return the excess amount and what she took from the state grant intended for your mother.

As for giving the car to the brother to work with it, this is considered favoritism. If it is due to his need, there is no harm; otherwise, it is not permissible. If he is incompetent and cannot manage money well, it should not be given to him, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "And do not give the incompetent your property, which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them out of it and clothe them and speak to them words of kindness."
