Is it permissible for women to talk about obscene matters amongst themselves, or for one of them to advise another on how to sexually please her husband?
Believing men and women should guard their tongues from obscenity and vulgarity, based on the saying of Allah the Almighty: {And speak to people good words}, and the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The believer is not a slanderer, nor a curser, nor an obscene speaker, nor a foul-mouthed one." This includes the prohibition of obscene speech, and women conversing with each other about matters of intimacy and private parts that occur between them and their husbands, and spreading the secrets of the marital relationship. This is a grave evil, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, among the worst people in rank before Allah on the Day of Resurrection is a man who goes to his wife, and she goes to him, then he divulges her secret." This is emphasized for both men and women. They both must adhere to modesty, which is entirely good, and distance themselves from the manners of the foolish.
