And what is the ruling on uttering such explicit and arousing words between spouses over the phone during the husband's prolonged absence from his wife, taking into account the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "The believer is not a frequent curser, nor one who utters obscenities, nor one who speaks rudely," and "There is nothing heavier in the believer's scale on the Day of Resurrection than good character, and indeed, Allah detests the one who utters obscenities and speaks rudely"? And does this diminish the mutual respect between the spouses?

There is no legal impediment to fulfilling the wife's desires in matters of intercourse if it occurs when the spouses are together, provided there is no risk of others overhearing. This is not considered the forbidden indecency. As for discussing such matters over the phone, it is preferable to avoid it, fearing that others might become aware of it, and it might lead to arousing desires at a time when they cannot be satisfied, thus potentially leading to the commission of something unlawful.
