Is it permissible to adopt the view of those who say that congregational prayer in the mosque is recommended, and to perform some prayers in the mosque and some at home? And does one sin if he does that? And can one be considered a disbeliever, especially with the existence of views that deem it obligatory or that declare the one who abandons prayer a disbeliever?

If you are capable of weighing the different opinions of scholars, then you must act according to what you deem weightier. If the obligation (wujub) is what you deem weightier, then it is not permissible for you to miss the congregational prayer, otherwise you would be sinful. If its desirability (istihbab) is what you deem weightier, then you would not be sinful for missing it.

However, if you are not capable of weighing the opinions, then the matter is broad, and there is no harm upon you in following those who say that congregational prayer is not obligatory. Nevertheless, it is better for you to strive to perform it in the mosque.

Regarding your question, "Am I considered an infidel?", no one has stated that a person who misses prayer in the mosque is an infidel. We advise you to be diligent in praying in the mosque and to seek help from Allah.
