How is the word "الأيكة" (Al-Ayka) in Surat "Sad" to be started when commencing with it by way of examination, given the omission of the Hamzat al-Wasl (connecting hamza) in the Mushaf?

Nafi‘, Ibn Kathir, and Ibn ‘Amir read the word "الأيكة" in Surah Ash-Shu‘ara and Surah Sad as "ليكة" with an open lam followed by a silent ya. Meanwhile, Abu ‘Amr, ‘Asim, Hamza, and Al-Kisa’i read it as "الأيكة," defined with alif and lam. ‘Asim and Hamza optionally start with a hamzat wasl when beginning with it.
