Is placing colorful banners that contain sermons and Hadiths in mosques considered among the prohibited ornamentation?

The majority of jurists dislike writing or engraving the Qur’an and the names of Allah on walls, prayer niches (mihrabs), and anything that is spread out (like carpets). Similarly, writing the Qur’an on walls (even if it's for a mosque) is disliked because it distracts the worshipper and preoccupies their heart. As for banners containing admonitions, it is permissible to hang them at the back of the mosque if they do not distract the worshippers, provided caution is exercised to prevent them from falling or being disrespected.
