These are cursed by the tongue of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for his saying: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the women who imitate men and the men who imitate women." They are to be killed only if they commit obscenity, and the ruler is to carry out the punishment. One must be wary of associating with them, and it is not permissible to interact with them in any way that involves suspicion, such as looking with lust, touching, or fondling, for all of that falls under the category of sodomy.
