What is the ruling regarding someone who commits incest and breaks their fast in Ramadan, and how can they rid themselves of these sins and steadfastly adhere to the path of Islam, and is what happened considered magic?

Incest is one of the gravest and most sinful crimes. Whoever commits adultery with his sister during the daytime in Ramadan (definition) has committed a great sin, and he must conceal himself and repent to Allah. He must make up for the day he broke his fast, and if the breaking of the fast was due to intercourse, then a severe expiation is required: freeing a slave. If he cannot find one, then fasting for two consecutive months. If he is unable to do that, then feeding sixty needy persons. Repentance is accepted no matter how great the sin, if its conditions are met: abstaining from the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. One must eliminate the causes of temptation and block the devil's entry points, and stay away from everything that incites lust, while strengthening one's connection with Allah, holding fast to Him, occupying one's time with what is beneficial, associating with good people, and making frequent supplications.
