Is it permissible or forbidden to remove newborns with oxygen deficiency and brain damage from respirators?

It is not permissible to remove life support from a person whose death has not been fully ascertained. The fact that the person is disabled or mentally challenged does not justify such an act. As long as it is possible to continue treatment and keep the devices to assist the patient, it is not permissible to remove them or discontinue treatment, for life is a gift from Allah that must be respected.
