Is it permissible to conceal one's academic results for fear of the evil eye and envy?

One must praise Allah for His grace and for the diligence in studies to maintain excellence. There should be no pathological fear of envy, unless there is strong evidence suggesting the likelihood of a specific person's envy, in which case it is permissible to conceal some matters from them. It is not obligatory to inform anyone of the results, and there is no sin in concealing them. However, it is preferable to update others with them as a form of gratitude to Allah, unless there is a fear of harm from envy or the like, in which case concealment would be more appropriate.
