"Fear of straying and of an evil end is a sign of true faith, and it is not something that needs to be 'cured'; rather, it should be maintained to increase the heart's attachment to Allah and diligence in obedience. This is achieved by adhering to the Quran and Sunnah, by supplicating, and by having firm knowledge that guidance comes from Allah, as well as by thinking well of Him. For Allah protects the servant who guards His boundaries from doubts and desires and grants him an end upon faith. Thus, whoever follows Allah's guidance 'will not go astray nor suffer.'"
