What is the ruling on writing a fictitious lodging contract to join a job that requires residency in the town, knowing that no actual lodging will take place?

Presenting a false hosting contract is forbidden lying and among the worst of ethics. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked: "Can a believer be a liar?" He replied: "No." And on the authority of Abdullah bin Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Adhere to truthfulness, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A person continues to speak the truth and strives to be truthful until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful one. Beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. A person continues to lie and strives to lie until he is recorded with Allah as a liar." Therefore, it is not permissible to present a false hosting contract.
