Is it Sunnah to have many sandals, as stated in the hadith: "Have many sandals, for a man remains mounted as long as he is wearing sandals?"

The aforementioned Hadith is authentic, narrated by Muslim, and its meaning is that a person wearing sandals is akin to a rider in terms of the lightness of hardship, the reduction of fatigue, and the safety of the foot from the harms of the road. This is a guidance towards what is beneficial. The phrase "استكثروا من النعال" (acquire many sandals) is a directive for guidance, and what is meant is to have many pairs ready during travel to change them when needed.
