What is the ruling on working as a doctor in tourism in Egypt, whether in tourist villages to handle emergency cases, or on tourist boats in the same role, given that some tourist establishments engage in practices such as writing prescriptions or prescribing medications at high costs that the tourist does not need, in order to make money?

Prescribing medications that a patient does not need—whether a tourist or not, Muslim or non-Muslim—is forbidden deception, betrayal, and a waste of trust. It involves consuming wealth unjustly, and Allah the Almighty has forbidden that, saying: ﴿And do not consume your properties among yourselves unjustly.﴾ Consuming wealth unjustly includes taking it through oppression, theft, betrayal, or from forbidden sources such as gambling.
