What is the ruling on a man who corrupts a woman against her husband?

Alienating a wife from her husband is one of the great abominations that incur Allah's wrath. The perpetrator of such an act is warned by the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "He is not of us who incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master." Incitement (takhbib) is mentioning the husband's faults to his wife or mentioning the virtues of a stranger in her presence. It is obligatory upon the one who commits this act to repent to Allah and strive to rectify what they have corrupted.
