What is the ruling on registering the questioner's family in health insurance, and on insuring his life?

Insurance is of two types: commercial, which is void and forbidden, and Takaful (Islamic cooperative insurance) or cooperative, which is permissible. International organizations often deal with commercial insurance companies, and voluntary participation in them is not allowed. The participant or their heirs are only entitled to benefit within the limits of the premiums paid.
