There are many types of prayers, and the most important of them after the obligatory prayers (the five daily prayers) are the Witr prayer, the regular Sunnah prayers, the Duha prayer, the night vigil (Qiyam al-Layl), the Eid prayers, the prayer for rain (Istisqa'), the prayer for solar and lunar eclipses (Kusuf and Khusuf), and the absolute supererogatory prayers (Nawafil Mutlaqah).
