Is visiting a pregnant, non-committed woman in her home to help her with her first pregnancy a sin if it takes place in the absence of her alcoholic husband?

If shunning your wife does not deter her from sins, such as abandoning the hijab, then there is no harm in visiting her. And visiting her may even be recommended if there is hope that it will lead to her invitation to Allah and the improvement of her condition.
