The answer

Marriage without a guardian is invalid according to the majority of scholars. However, this does not mean that a woman cannot marry unless with the consent of her specific guardian. Rather, it is not permissible for a guardian to prevent his ward from marrying a suitable man whom she has accepted. If he refuses, she has the right for another guardian to marry her, or she may refer her case to a judge. If the man is suitable, then inform your father and ask someone to intercede with him. If the father refuses without a valid reason, then it is permissible for a guardian after him to marry you. If none of your guardians agree to marry you without a valid reason, then you may refer the matter to the court.
