Is it permissible for a wife to stop taking birth control pills without her husband's knowledge if he refuses to have children, claiming he first wants them to get to know each other?

There is no blame on the wife for conceiving without her husband's permission, and the husband does not have the right to prevent his wife from conceiving, as it is one of the purposes of marriage. The husband should be consulted to please him, and we advise him to reconsider his opinion. The Prophet encouraged marrying women who are fertile, and a Muslim should strive for a large progeny; for a multitude of children is one of the reasons for the glory of the Ummah.
