Is it permissible to combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers as a delayed combination on the wedding night, so that they are prayed after returning at night, or must they be prayed together at the time of the Isha adhan?

Prayer holds a magnificent status in Islam, being its second pillar, and it is obligatory to preserve its performance at its prescribed time with its conditions. A wedding is not a reason to delay it.

If a significant hardship arises due to performing both the Maghrib and Isha prayers at their respective times, it is permissible to combine them, either by advancing or delaying them, out of necessity.

Therefore, there is no impediment to combining the two prayers upon returning, if a severe necessity calls for it, provided that the time for Isha still remains.
