Does the curse befall someone who entered a specific place which he had sworn to curse himself if he entered it, but he entered it to obtain money that belongs to him?

A Muslim's supplication of a curse upon himself is fundamentally forbidden, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Do not supplicate against yourselves," and his saying: "A believer is not a slanderer nor a curser." Scholars have agreed on the prohibition of such a supplication. There is no expiation required for supplicating with a curse.
