What is the ruling on marrying the daughter of a man who works in a usurious bank, if the family and the girl are committed to the other rulings of Islam and possess good character and religiosity?

The fact that the girl's father works in a usurious bank does not prevent one from proposing to his daughter and marrying her, as long as she is of good character and religious commitment. This is because she possesses the qualities that make her worthy of being sought after. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion. So, succeed with the religious woman, and may your hands be soiled [with dust, i.e., may you prosper]." The girl should accept marriage to a man who adheres to religious principles and possesses noble character, and likewise for the young man. There is no consideration given to the fact that one of their parents may be engaged in sins and violations of Islamic law, as Allah Almighty says: (Every person is a pledge for what he has earned) and (And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another). It is advisable to use this marriage as a means to advise the girl's father and guide him to leave his work in usurious banks.
