What can I do to offer something to the religion?

A Muslim should be keen to support his religion, seeking help from Allah the Almighty. He should program himself for continuous righteous deeds, even if they are small; for "the most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are continuous, even if they are few." This work is not voluntary; rather, it is a religious obligation upon every capable person. A Muslim begins by reforming himself, then his household, then his neighbors and kin, and then everyone around him, using the available means. This obligation also includes benefiting people, helping them, and aiding those in need. All of this is considered jihad in the way of Allah.
