Is it permissible to give usurious money to a poor brother, or to one's parents, as aid or for medicine, without informing them of the source of the money, and would this be considered personal gain?

Deals involving investment certificates issued by banks that do not adhere to Sharia (definition) principles are prohibited due to their inclusion of usury (riba) and gambling (maysir (definition)). Whoever has engaged in them must repent and withdraw the money from the bank. The usurious profits must be disposed of by spending them on public welfare projects for Muslims or by giving them to the poor and needy. It is permissible to give them to a poor brother without informing him of their source, if the intention is to rid oneself of illicit gains.
