What are the best books to explain Zad Al-Mustaqni', Bulugh Al-Maram, and Kitab Al-Tawhid, and what are the recommended texts for memorization?
Good commentaries on "Al-Zad" are "Al-Rawdh Al-Murbi'" with the supercommentary of Ibn Qasim, and the commentary of Ibn 'Uthaymeen. As for "Bulugh Al-Maram," its best commentaries are "Subul Al-Salam" by Al-San'ani, and Al-Bassam's commentary. Among the best commentaries on "Kitab Al-" are "Fath Al-Majeed" by 'Abd Al-Rahman ibn Aal Al-Shaykh, and the commentary of Ibn 'Uthaymeen.
As for the suggested texts for memorization, after the Noble Qur'an: In 'Aqeedah (Creed): Al-Tahawiyyah, Al-Wasitiyyah, Kitab Al-Tawhid, and Sullam Al-Wusool. In Usul Al-Fiqh (Principles of Jurisprudence): Nadhm Al-Waraqat, Maraqi Al-Su'ud. In Qawa'id Al-Fiqh (Maxims of Jurisprudence): Nadhm Ibn Sa'di, Nadhm Al-Ahdal. In Nahw and Sarf (Grammar and Morphology): Al-Ajurrumiyyah, Alfiyyah Ibn Malik. In Fiqh (Jurisprudence) (according to the ): Hanafi: Al-Hidayah. Maliki: Al-Risalah, or Al-Kafaf, then Mukhtasar Khalil. Shafi'i: Matn Abi Shuja', then Al-Minhaj. Hanbali: Zad Al-Mustaqni', and Daleel Al-Talib.
