How can a woman balance her religious duties and the concerns of da‘wah (preaching Islam) and tarbiyah (Islamic upbringing) with responding to the rights of her husband, especially if that requires her to temporarily set aside thoughts of religious matters?

Reforming the nation begins with reforming the individual and their family. Listening to music is forbidden by Islamic law, and justifying it by saying it is better than not obeying one's husband in bed is a flimsy argument and a deception from Satan, for both are acts of disobedience. There is no contradiction between being a good wife to one's husband and obeying him in bed, and grieving over the state of the Ummah.
