What is the ruling of Islamic law concerning a wife who refuses to wear the hijab, shakes hands with men, listens to music, and neglects her husband's rights, knowing that she rejects guidance and advice? Is it permissible for the husband to divorce her?

The Shari'ah encourages choosing a wife who is religious and of good character, because she understands that obeying her husband is an act of obedience to Allah. As for the wife who neglects and disobeys her husband, she does not possess the qualities of religiousness and good morals. Therefore, whoever desires to marry should make a woman of religion and good character their goal. And whoever fails to observe this, should first blame themselves, then try to address their wife's disobedience with wisdom and advice, explaining to her the virtue of obedience in this world and the hereafter. If all remedies fail, then divorce is the optimal solution at that point; because one's religion is their most valuable asset.
