Is it intended by "one hundred times in the morning and in the evening" that the ذكر (remembrance) be recited one hundred times in the morning and one hundred times in the evening, or fifty in the morning and fifty in the evening? And is exceeding one hundred times considered an transgression?

The agreed-upon Hadith by the two Sheikhs, "Whoever says in the morning and in the evening: 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him),' one hundred times, no one will come on the Day of Resurrection with anything better than what he came with, except for someone who said the same as he said or added to it," indicates the virtue of saying "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi" one hundred times in the morning and in the evening. It is preferable for the glorification to be continuous and in one sitting, but it is permissible for it to be done separately, and adding more than a hundred increases the reward.
