Why was "Abu Lahab" given that name?

Abe Lahab was known by this name for several reasons:

1. The beauty of his face, which was radiant.

2. An indication that he would be cast into a flaming fire.

3. His name was Abd al-Uzza and his kunya was Abu Utbah, while "Abe Lahab" was a title for his beauty.

4. It was said that it was a kunya of insult, meaning "damned be the hands of the infernal one."
