What is the ruling on reciting a single surah in one rak'ah by combining two different Qira'at (readings) of the Seven, such that one word is recited according to one narration and then another word according to a different narration?

The Seven Readings (Qira'at Sab'ah) are continuously transmitted (mutawatir) and it is permissible to recite with them. Scholars have differed on combining two or more readings in prayer or outside of it, holding three views:

1. Absolute Permissibility: All readings are from Allah, and it is permissible to recite with more than one reading in Al-Fatiha or in a single rak'ah. 2. Conditional Permissibility: It is permissible provided that what is recited with the second reading is not grammatically connected to what was recited with the first. This view is the most preponderant. It differentiates between narration (riwaya) and recitation (tilawa), where in recitation, it is permissible unless it results in an incorrect linguistic construction. 3. Absolute Prohibition: Mixing readings is prohibited and considered an error.

The preponderant view in this matter distinguishes between a worshiper praying alone, for whom combining readings is permissible under the aforementioned condition, and the Imam of a congregation, for whom it is not appropriate, in order to prevent confusion and discord among the worshipers.
