What is the ruling on ritual purity (tahara) when there are continuous drops after urination, and what is the correct way to deal with this to avoid obsessive doubts (waswasa) and distress?
The validity of purification depends on the continuous discharge of urine drops. If they are constantly discharged after urination but stop for a period long enough for purification and prayer, then their discharge invalidates ablution and nullifies the prayer. However, it is not nullified by mere doubt. But if they are continuous and do not stop for a period long enough for purification and prayer, then it is urinary incontinence ( سلس بول - سلس البول), and its ruling and how to deal with the drops and perform istinja' (ritual cleansing) have been previously explained in previous fatwas.
