What is the ruling on purity for one who suffers from intermittent drops of urine exiting after urinating? And is it obligatory to place a cloth on the male organ and wash it for every prayer and repeat the ablution? And is it necessary to wash it upon waking up from sleep?

Whoever experiences continuous urination must use a cloth or similar item to prevent the spread of impurity. When the discharge stops, they should remove the cloth, clean themselves (perform istinja'), make ablution (wudu'), and pray. If any urine is discharged during sleep, it must be washed from the clothes, or the soiled cloth must be replaced so that one can pray in pure clothes, because avoiding impurity is a condition for the validity of prayer. As for doubt about the discharge of urine, it does not necessitate anything, and the default is non-discharge. One must not abandon Tarawih prayers because of this; rather, they can pray individually after the urine discharge ceases and they have performed istibra' (ensured no further drops will come out).
