Is it necessary to bury nail clippings or hair after cutting them?

Burying hair and nails is not obligatory. If you bury them, it is good; if you do not, there is no sin, as the narrations that command burying them are weak. Scholars have mentioned that burying them is better and more preferable, and this has been narrated from some Companions.
