Is it necessary to specify the sins one has not repented of when saying, "O Allah, I repent to You from all my sins," and does committing a sin thereafter invalidate the repentance for all sins?

Whoever repents with a general repentance benefits from it for all sins, those he knew of and those he did not know of, those he recalled and those he did not recall. As for what he did not intend to repent from, it will not be forgiven him due to his persistence in it. And if a servant returns to some sins after his general repentance, his previous repentance is not nullified; rather, he is only sinful for the transgression he committed.
