It is advisable to be patient, deliberate, and strive to guide and reform your wife, for a woman was created from a rib, and if you try to straighten it, you will break it. A woman who is new to Islam needs education, guidance, and good character from her husband to firmly establish faith in her heart. Try to bring her booklets and tapes, and remember that hearts are in the hand of Allah. Her condition may change after childbirth due to the importance of raising a child. Seek reward for keeping her, thereby preserving her Islam, and improve your character with her, and avoid causes of conflict.
