The answer

All companions must be loved, revered, and acknowledged for their virtues, and one must have a good opinion of them. This is especially true for the Mothers of the Believers, particularly Aisha, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The superiority of Aisha over other women is like the superiority of Tharid over all other food."

The verse ("And stay in your houses") is decisive, and an exception is made for going out for acts of worship or for permissible needs, based on the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "You have been permitted to go out for your needs."

The scholars among the Companions are not infallible, but they are mujtahids (those who exercise independent reasoning). The one who is correct receives two rewards, and the one who errs receives one reward. Their errors are overlooked in comparison to their good deeds.
