How can one respond to the misconceptions related to Lady Aisha's (may Allah be pleased with her) participation in the Battle of the Camel against Ali ibn Abi Talib?

The first thing is to refrain from discussing what transpired between the Companions, to be pleased with them, and to believe that they were mujtahidun (exercised independent judgment). Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) went out seeking what was best and did not intend to fight, but Uthman's killers ignited the war. And Aisha regretted her journey to Basra and her presence on the Day of the Camel.
